Dr. David Moore
Chiropractic & Functional Rehab, Nutrition Guidance
With over five years as a chiropractor, I help people move better, get stronger, and stay active. My mission is simple: equip you with the tools to recover faster and prevent another injury, so you can enjoy life the way you intend to.
I earned my degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from SUNY Cortland, where I competed as a student-athlete. In 2020, I graduated from the National University of Health Sciences with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, where I was also introduced to two movement-based systems that continue to shape my approach to care today:
1) Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) reteaches your body to breathe, stabilize, and move in a way that protects your joints and increases your strength
2) McKenzie Method (MDT) is a simple approach to teach you how to use repeated movements throughout the day to safely reduce pain and improve your range of motion, from basic stiffness to Sciatica
The McKenzie Method (MDT) for empowering people to treat their pain safely with repeated movement, and a self-guided recovery.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, from busy parents and athletes in MLB, MLS, and NCAA, to those experiencing chiropractic care for the very first time.
A few fun facts about me: At SUNY-Cortland I was an ice hockey player, grew up locally playing for the Glen Ellyn Flames and Team Illinois. In 2022, I completed an Ironman triathlon in Chattanooga, Tennessee. My favorite vacation spot is the Bahamas. The best round of golf I’ve ever played was the day I graduated chiropractic school, shot a 74 at Arrowhead Golf Club. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me with my friends and family, putting miles on my triathlon bike, at the golf course, or enjoying time with my dog, Stanley (named after the Stanley Cup!).

A chiropractic adjustment is a controlled, precise, hands-on movement applied to restricted areas of the spine or other joints to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. By restoring proper movement, adjustments provide an opportunity for your nervous system to reset, which positively influences functions like posture, breathing, and even digestion.
DNS is a natural and powerful approach to safely retrain movement. It teaches you how to stabilize, and shows how well we breathe determines how strong we are. It's all based on the first year of life, known as developmental kinesiology. By rebuilding the foundation of how your body moves, DNS makes all other exercises and daily activities safer and more effective.
McKenzie MDT is one of the most researched and proven systems for treating pain in the lower back, neck, and limbs. It helps identify the root cause of your pain and teaches you targeted exercises you can do at home to relieve it. The goal is to give you the tools to manage your pain independently, so you can get back to life without fear of reinjury.
Together, these approaches work as a complete system: chiropractic restores mobility, DNS builds lasting stability, and MDT empowers you to manage and prevent future problems on your own. Combining them addresses pain, movement, and long-term function, not just symptoms.
Nutrition fuels your body’s ability to heal, move, and perform. Eating the right foods supports tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and gives your muscles, joints, and nervous system the energy they need to respond to chiropractic care. When paired with adjustments, rehabilitation, and exercise, proper nutrition helps you recover faster, build strength more effectively, and maintain the results of your treatment for the long term. In short, good nutrition amplifies the benefits of every visit and helps you feel your best.
